Hi all! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Today I wanted to share this book and my thoughts on it because I absolutely loved it. It was such a refreshing read and I flew through it (I read both of the books in the series + the novella in 3ish days)!
I also recently re-downloaded kindle unlimited and it was the best decision I've made in a while. I do love my paperback books, but it's so nice to have these books at my fingertips and not having to wait for them to arrive in the mail. I've already read 4 books in 4 days just on my kindle.
The Serpent and The Wings of Night Review
Rating: 5/5 ⭐️
This book is honestly the best book that I have read in a longggg time. I was hooked from the very first page and I absolutely could not put it down. I love any book with vampires in it, and it made it so much cooler that Oraya was a human fighting her way through five trials in the book against all vampires to win the Kejari. I really enjoyed the storyline and the pacing, it wasn’t too fast or slow, and allowed for good world and character development.
Oraya is SUCH a badass. Her character is one of my favorites, and she’s so sassy, intelligent, and witty. She guards her heart through being sassy and off-putting, but she met her match with Raihn. Raihn was 🥵 and I’m forever obsessed with him now. He’s broody, daunting, funny, and a solid “touch her and I’ll kill you” man. Their relationship was fire from the start, and I couldn’t get enough of their interactions. The spice was perfect, a slow-burn, just waiting for it to happen. And when it did happen, it was 🔥
I am actually in shock at the ending. I probably should’ve seen it coming, but alas, I definitely did not. I almost screamed, I felt like I had whip lash, and I couldn’t put it down for the last 20%. I am so excited to read the second book to see what happens. Oraya and Raihn are definitely up there in my top book couples, and I can’t wait to read more with their relationship 🤩

This book sounds very interesting!!!
