Consider Me Review 🏒🥅⛸️

Hello friends! I'm back with another 5 star read (which isn't surprising because I give almost everything 5 stars). What's different about this book from my normal reads is that this was a sports romance book, specifically hockey. I've read regular romance/rom-com books, but this was my first sports romance. I absolutely ADORED it, and it was honestly one of my favorite reads of 2023. It's a series of 3 books, all within the same group of characters (which I love because I love these characters so much)! Review below!

This was my first sports romance and I absolutely ADORED this book so much. I fell in love with the characters right from the get go, and the story was just so heartwarming. It follows Carter, who’s a cocky, self-assured (yet also a big teddy bear on the inside) professional NHL player, and Olivia (Ollie), a sweet but feisty high-school gym teacher. Carter starts off as a play boy, until he meets Ollie, who has no interest in a one-night stand. He wins her heart over the book, and the way their relationship developed over time was so lovely to follow and I absolutely adore them together. The spice and tension between them was also 🔥.

I loved the inner dialogue of Carter and Ollie, and the conversations between all  of the characters was my favorite. Cara, Ollie’s best friend, was by far one of my favorite side characters. She was so sassy and everybody was scared of her 😂 I was laughing SO much throughout the book - I loved every single character in this book. I also cried SO much, and my heart felt like it was breaking at one point because I was so wrapped up in this book. I couldn’t put it down 🫶🏼
